Elena began working as an outdoor guide while attending the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she received her undergraduate degree in environmental science with an emphasis in education and social justice.

Born in London, James graduated in Marketing Communications and went on to work for global brands such as Disney, Universal Music and Turner Broadcasting.
